Hi, I’m Abby Leon, owner of Abby Leon Bookkeeping, your go-to virtual bookkeeping partner. I started my business out of both necessity and passion; the necessity to create a flexible, purpose-driven life as a working mom, and the passion to support others doing the same. As a mom and entrepreneur myself, I understand the delicate (and sometimes messy!) balancing act between running a household and building a business that actually thrives. That’s why I built Abby Leon Bookkeeping: to take the stress of managing business finances off your plate, so you can focus on the parts of your business and life that light you up. I specialize in supporting service-based business owners, with accurate, up-to-date bookkeeping so they can confidently make informed decisions to both grow their business and stress less at tax time. I want you to feel empowered by your numbers, not intimidated by them. My goal is to be more than just your bookkeeper. I believe in transparency, efficiency, and heart-led service. As a mom, I know that time and energy are precious, and as your bookkeeper, I make sure your books are always current and clean, so you can make the biggest impact possible with your business. My Professional Journey:
I come from a strong background in leadership and administration, with over a decade of experience in customer service, leading departments, and coordinating products to maximize profit without sacrificing quality. I found bookkeeping while I researched ways to make an income from home using my strengths and experience. I have honed my expertise in QuickBooks Online, financial organization, and monthly reconciliations. Since launching Abby Leon Bookkeeping in July 2024, I’ve worked with a range of amazing clients from online service providers and consultants to wellness professionals and tradesman entrepreneurs. One of my favorite parts of this journey is witnessing the relief and confidence clients feel when they no longer have to stress about keeping track of their income and expenses. Being a mom has helped me understand the importance of flexible and responsive services. Starting my own business allowed me to align my career with my family life while building something that truly helps others. I am continuously learning and evolving to better support my clients with the most relevant and effective solutions.
My Accomplishments:
Some of my proudest moments are actually the quietest, like when a client finally hits their first 10K month, feels confident applying for a loan, knows when they can hire help, or walking into their accountant’s office stress-free at tax time! I’m a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and continuously invest in professional development to stay sharp. My client testimonials speak to my reliability, communication, and care. That’s the kind of impact I strive for. Success for me is measured by peace of mind, both mine and yours. A Little About Me Outside of Work:
When I’m not crunching numbers or on Zoom with a client, you can usually find me homeschooling my 3 children or exploring a new park in North County San Diego. I love dancing, personal development books, and spending time in nature. Balancing motherhood, homeschool, and business is no small feat. I’m learning to create space for joy and rest as part of my success formula. And that’s the mission for me, balancing boundaries, flexibility, and intentionality to grow a business that I can be proud of while being the wife and mother I want to be.
